This arrangement is part of a series called Seljetonar. The melodies were collected by Reidar Djupedal. He was a professor of Nordic languages and literature and collected folklore throughout his life. Reidar Djupedal was my grandfather. The folk melodies in the series are from his hometown of Selje in Stadlandet, and were published in a special edition of Årbok for Nordfjord in the 1980s.
